 La Fiesta Grande Meaning "the Big Party," this local Mexican favorite has a long menu (from chimichangas to chipotle shrimp), big portions, and cold margaritas that add up to a party-worthy experience. Many of the area's s fajita lovers think the fajitas here are the best.

La Fiesta is a Tex Mex restaurant that  a family favorite.  They have great weekly specials, and the food is always good. They have 2 locations in Amarillo, and they are usually very full.  We love to eat at La Fiesta.  The prices are very reasonable and it is a great place to go with a large group because you can usually get in pretty quick. They have a good selection for the kids as well. We usually always have good service too.

The last time we visited Carol had the  Chipotle Chicken: grilled breast of chicken marinated in their own chipotle sauce, topped with Monterey Jack cheese and served with grilled vegetables, guacamole, pico de gallo, rice, beans and flour tortillas.  The chicken was not over cooked as is the case in many restaursnts.  Everything was to her liking.  Ron ordered the Sizzling Fajitas, combination: beef chicken and shrimp.  Oh my, sure didn't go home hungry and Ron commented to Carol, we have got to come backhere soon.
