From David's Website
The signature dish is aptly named "David's Fillet," a marinated Certified Angus Beef fillet. The wine list has also been upgraded and includes the excellent Jordan (California) Cabernet. Diners have responded to the changes filling dining rooms full. A recently record Saturday night showed that with family ownership, a strong work ethic and the right concept, local businesses can flourish despite the presence of national chains.
Our Review:
We have been to David's several times for special occasions. We have found them to have consistently good service and fine food. Every time we have been there, we have had a fine dining experience.
Great atmosphere and as soon as you walk in, waitress greets you with warm buns stuffed with cheese. You may just want to take two, they are so good. You also want to try their marinated fillet appetizer. It's chunks of marinated beef on potatoes served in a martini glass.
On our last visit Carol tried David's marinated fillet with the potato casserole. The simple salad made way for an absolutely delightful entree. Ron had the prime rib and it was cooked medium rare to perfection and a real treat.
They serve freshly made (the come around every couple of minutes) cheesy dinner rolls which so good. I think Ron ate at least 3 of them! Just watch out cause sometimes they are really fresh and hot and you might burn your fingertips being overly anxious to dig into them.
We we're told by diners sitting near us that the fried shrimp was the best they had ever had, an they eat out a lot.
It is about time for us to go back to Davids and when we do, we will give you an update. Can't wait.
